Information we collect
This website does not collect any protected health information (PHI). We do not ask for your name, diagnosis, insurance, or any clinical details through this site. The only data collected is:
- Analytics data — We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site (pages viewed, session duration, general location such as city/region). This data is aggregated and does not identify you personally.
- Contact inquiries — If you email us directly at hello@steadyvoicepathways.com, we receive the information you include in that message. Please do not include sensitive health information in unencrypted email.
Cookies
Google Analytics sets cookies to distinguish visitors and sessions. These are standard analytics cookies and do not contain PHI. You can opt out via the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Third-party services
Scheduling and clinical intake are handled through SimplePractice, a HIPAA-compliant practice management platform. When you access the client portal or complete intake forms, you are interacting with SimplePractice's systems under their own privacy policy and a Business Associate Agreement with Steady Voice.

Our duties
Steady Voice Pathways LLC is required by law to maintain the privacy of your protected health information, provide you with this notice of our legal duties and privacy practices, and notify you following a breach of unsecured PHI.
How we may use and disclose your health information
- Treatment — We use and share your PHI to provide, coordinate, and manage your speech-language pathology services.
- Payment — We may use your PHI to bill you or process payment for services, including generating superbills upon request.
- Healthcare operations — We may use your PHI for quality assessment, training, and other internal practice operations.
- As required by law — We will disclose PHI when required to do so by federal, state, or local law (for example, mandatory abuse or neglect reporting).
- With your authorization — All other uses and disclosures require your written authorization, which you may revoke at any time in writing.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- Request a copy of your health records
- Request corrections to your health records
- Request restrictions on how we use or share your information
- Request confidential communications by alternative means or at alternative locations
- Receive an accounting of disclosures of your PHI

Filing a complaint
If you believe your privacy rights have been violated, you may file a complaint with Steady Voice Pathways or with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Office for Civil Rights. We will not retaliate against you for filing a complaint.
