Services

Evidence-based speech-language pathology for individuals and families, delivered through secure teletherapy or — when the situation calls for it — in person.

Articulation & Phonological Disorders

Every client deserves to be understood. I work with speech sound errors and phonological patterns so clients can communicate clearly, confidently, and without frustration. Treatment is engaging, with strategies families can use at home.

Language Delays & Disorders

I offer evaluation and treatment for a wide range of receptive and expressive language needs. Sessions are individualized and family-centered, and I build caregiver coaching into every plan.

Literacy-Based Services

Strong reading starts with strong language. Using Scarborough's Rope as a framework, I target the foundational language skills, phonological awareness, vocabulary, and background knowledge, that give clients the best shot at becoming confident readers and writers.

Autism & Social Communication

I provide relationship-centered, play-based support for autistic individuals and those with social communication differences. My approach is never about making someone appear neurotypical; it's about building meaningful connection and communication on their own terms.

AAC Services

I support individuals who use or are exploring augmentative and alternative communication. This includes vocabulary personalization, aided language stimulation, and hands-on training for families, caregivers, and school teams to help AAC users communicate more effectively. Note: I do not complete funding applications or device procurement — if you need support obtaining a device, I can point you toward the right resources.

Childhood Apraxia of Speech

Apraxia requires intensive, motor-based treatment from a trained clinician. I use Dynamic Temporal and Tactile Cueing (DTTC), an evidence-based approach that builds reliable, functional speech through structured motor practice and carefully graded cueing.

Voice Therapy

I work with clients experiencing muscle tension dysphonia, chronic cough, vocal fold dysfunction, aging voice changes, and voice affected by Parkinson's disease (SPEAKOUT! trained). I coordinate with ENTs and other providers to make sure your care is comprehensive.

Stuttering Therapy

Using an avoidance reduction approach, I help people who stutter build confidence, reduce shame, and communicate authentically. The goal is not to eliminate stuttering but to remove the fear around it so you can say what you want, how you want.

Parent & Caregiver Coaching

Parents and caregivers are the most powerful agents of change in a client's communication development. I provide practical strategies, demonstrations, and guided practice so you can actively support progress between sessions.

School Collaboration & IEP Support

Navigating the school system can be overwhelming. I offer IEP meeting attendance, goal review, evaluation interpretation, and collaboration with school teams. My job is to help families advocate effectively and make sure what happens at school and at home are working in the same direction.

How we meet

Most services are available in both formats. We will discuss what makes the most sense for your situation during your consultation.

Clinician conducting a speech therapy session with a patient over video

Teletherapy

Secure, HIPAA-conscious video sessions from wherever you are in Virginia. No commute, no waiting room. Families often find that therapy in a familiar environment actually helps clients generalize new skills faster. All you need is a device and a reliable internet connection.

In-Person Sessions

In-person sessions may be available on a case-by-case basis depending on your location and situation. If face-to-face care would better serve your needs, mention it during your consultation and we will figure out what is possible.
